Logistiknyhetene.no is a Norwegian online newspaper that offers the latest news and insight in logistics. It covers various aspects of the logistics sector, including sustainable solutions, industry appointments and technological advances in transport and logistics management. The website aims to keep readers informed about developments in the logistics industry in Norway and globally, and offers free selected articles and subscriptions for more content. It is led by the experienced logistics journalist and editor Per Dagfinn Wolden.

This is how we worked

Case

Logistiknytt (Logistiknyhetene.no) is a Norwegian online newspaper that provides the latest news and insights in logistics, covering sustainable solutions, industry appointments, and technological advances in transport and logistics management. They required a new online platform to enhance their digital presence and better serve their readers with timely information.

Challenge

Logistiknytt needed a well-designed online newspaper that not only reflected their brand but also provided a seamless and engaging user experience. The challenge was to create a digital platform that met the vision of their experienced editor, Per Dagfinn Wolden, while ensuring the design and structure resonated with their audience.

Solution

Avinto collaborated closely with Logistiknytt, beginning with understanding their needs and vision. The project started with developing a design concept that would shape both the brand and the website’s structure. Avinto worked iteratively with Per Dagfinn Wolden, holding 1-2 meetings per week to ensure alignment with his vision. The project was completed and the online newspaper was launched within 3 weeks.

Result

The new online newspaper successfully captured the essence of Logistiknytt's brand and provided an enhanced user experience. Post-launch, Avinto continued to work closely with Logistiknytt, making minor adjustments based on user feedback to further refine the platform. Avinto also assists with ongoing website operations and digital marketing efforts.

Modern digital solutions must work on all types of devices, such as mobile phones, PCs, tablets, larger screens, etc. We designed solutions so that it could work flawlessly and dynamically on all surfaces

Robustness and safety

It is crucial that the online newspaper is always operational, that login, payment etc. always work and that all IT security aspects are taken care of. This is the basis for the choice of technology, design of functionality and what we look after as operator of the website
