Supplier Code of Conduct

We hold our suppliers to the same high standards that we set for ourselves. ​

 

  • Ethical Business Practices: Suppliers must operate with integrity, transparency, and fairness, avoiding corruption and conflicts of interest.

  • Labor Standards: Suppliers are required to uphold workers' rights, ensuring safe and respectful working conditions, fair wages, and the prohibition of forced or child labor.

  • Compliance with Laws: All suppliers must comply with local and international laws, including the Norwegian Transparency Act 2022.

Transparency and Legal Compliance

In compliance with the Norwegian Transparency Act 2022, we are committed to conducting due diligence and publishing regular reports to ensure ethical practices throughout our supply chain. This includes:​

CSR Commitment to Employee Well-Being in Nepal

As part of our CSR commitment, Avinto’s Kathmandu office prioritizes employee well-being and a sustainable work environment. We fully comply with wage and hour laws, ensuring fair wages, reasonable working hours, and sufficient breaks, day-offs, and vacations.

 

Addressing Kathmandu’s environmental challenges, we have installed air purifiers and air conditioners to combat air pollution and provide fresh air. During the cold winters, we ensure warmth and comfort with heaters. These initiatives reflect Avinto’s dedication to fostering a healthy and supportive workspace in Nepal.
